Simple first aid method after Windows XP system crashes

Since Windows 98 system and Windows98+WindowsXP dual system can enter pure DOS mode, this is not the scope of this discussion, here only install Windows XP desktop system.

design ideas
establish DOS mode of Windows98 (including only IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS, COMMAND.COM three files), then install the WindowsXP system, thus creating Windows98 and in the system tray C drive Windows XP dual system boot entry, but Windows 98 is not installed, just a simple DOS mode. Usually work into the Windows XP system, when encountering a system failure, enter the DOS mode of Windows98, use Ghost software to restore the system. Once there is a serious problem, even if the system can't enter, use the super rescue disk to guide the system and carry out related repair and maintenance operations.

make Super emergency disk
download Super emergency disk file SOS_Disk.zip, then release the master file SOS4.exe and executed, the floppy disk made into a rescue floppy. In order to prevent some computers from having a floppy drive or a floppy disk, the super rescue disk can be made into a first aid CD.

system installation
1. To speed up the installation of Windows XP, can advance copy of Windows XP installation files to the hard disk, such as the D drive.
2. Start the computer with the super rescue disk, press E to exit its menu mode, input the FormatC:/s command at the DOS prompt, format the system disk C and pass the DOS98 system. After the completion, copy one of the files named Deltree.com to the root directory of the C drive, and copy the relevant programs of the Ghost software to the Ghost directory for later use.
3. Run Winnt.exe under the I386 folder of the Windows XP installation disk to install the Windows XP system in DOS mode. After the installation is complete, do not rush to install drivers for printers, scanners, video heads, USB flash drives, etc., so that the backup files to be made are as small as possible.
