If you frequently open multiple applications while using your computer, you should cherish the space on the taskbar. However, no matter how much you browse the web or use office software, it is inevitable to open multiple windows, which will make the Windows XP taskbar full.

Now, Windows XP's grouping taskbar function puts the same or similar programs in a group, so that users can select multiple program windows by clicking a window icon. By default, Windows XP will put the first open program in front. However, by adjusting the registry project, we can also optimize this combination.

Run the Registry Editor, expand the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\SOFTWARE\\MICROSOFT\\WINDOWS\\CURRENTVERSION \\EXPLORER\\ADVANCED ] branch, and click the “Edit →New →DWORD Value” command on the menu bar. , the DWORD value is named “TaskbarGroupSize”.
