        Just bought back the new hard disk, it can be used after partitioning and formatting. Now we can use the partition formatting tool with XP installation CD to partition the hard disk. Its function is much stronger than 98 Fdisk, and it is interactive. Graphical interface. When working with the partition on the XP installation CD: Diskpart to partition, you no longer need to pay attention to what is the main DOS partition, what is the extended partition, logical partition. The format command of the installation CD is still Format, but it is much more powerful. It can directly format the hard disk as FAT/FAT32/NTFS by adding parameters. 1. Partition the hard disk
1. Boot DEL, enter BiOS, set the first boot to CD-ROM, then insert the XP installation CD, use it to start, follow the prompts, and enter the following interface: Figure 1 2. Press the Enter key, if not previously A total, the following interface will appear: Figure 2 3. Then click on the "C" on the keyboard, this interface appears: Figure 3 4, see the number displayed inside, it is not the size of the hard disk, we delete this number first Fill in the partition size, then press Enter, the C drive is created, then we will follow the prompts to create other partitions for the hard drive. But in the end, XP has to leave 10M of space to not divide. 5. After the partition is completed, press the ESC key to exit. So simple? Yes, it's that simple, it's much easier to use than Fdisk! Second, delete the original partition
