Win XP Practical Tips: Automatically back up your favorites

Internet Explorer's favorites are a collection of our favorite websites, but if one day we reinstall the system, then our carefully collected websites will be gone. In fact, the "Import/Export" favorites feature is available in Internet Explorer.

Click on the "File Import and Export" menu item in Internet Explorer to bring up the page shown in Figure 1.

click "Next" to enter the page shown in FIG. 2. Here we can choose to import or export favorites, import or export cookies. Favorites are important, but in fact cookies are also important. Backing up and importing CookIE allows us to restore the system to the familiar one as quickly as possible after reinstalling the system.

After selecting "Export Favorites", click "Next". The Import/Export Wizard will export a file saved in the "Html" format for us. All the links in the favorites are included in this file. We can back up this file to a CD or import it to another computer. Of course, click on the link in this file to open the corresponding link.
