Windows XP fax function uses the full Raiders

. Today, the broadband network is rapidly spreading. The Modem in our hands seems to have been "incorruptible." It is too slow to use it to surf the Internet. After being eliminated, we will accompany us for countless days and nights. Does the night kitten have no value? Of course not, we can also send and receive faxes through your Modem, the effect is very ideal, which can make our Modem rejuvenate and add a practical function to our computer. Are you using broadband? It’s fast! But then, the Modem in our hands is all right, so is Modem a piece of chicken tasteless? Don't forget that Modem is a device that converts digital signals and analog signals. It basically works in the same way as a fax machine, except that the fax machine has more "scanner" and "printer" functions than Modem. Nothing. So can we turn the Modem into a fax machine? It's okay, like Windows XP, it provides us with a very good fax function, which can make our Modem change and become an Internet fax machine. Setting up a fax machine
The first thing to note is that if you are still using Modem to access the Internet, you don't need to set anything up; if you don't use Modem to access the Internet, just re-add it as you did before dialing up. I won’t say more here. Let's take a look at how to set up a fax. In the default installation mode of Windows XP, there is no fax machine, so we have to add the fax machine first, click "Start" → "Printers and Faxes", we will see the "Printers and Faxes" dialog box, as shown below As shown, click Set Up Fax. Next Windows will install and configure the components of the fax machine for us, as shown below. After the installation is complete, we can see an icon called "Fax" in the "Printers and Faxes" dialog box. Double-click this icon, we will see the "Fax Configuration Wizard", click "Next", we will set up the fax number, email, phone number and other sender information, as shown below. After filling in, click “Next”, we have finished configuring the fax, click “Finish”. At this point, Windows will pop up the "Fax Console" dialog box, which is very similar to the interface of Outlook, and it is similar in use. As shown below. Sending a fax
Once the fax machine is set up, you are ready to send a fax. First click "File" → "Send Fax", we will see the "Fax Send Wizard" dialog box, as shown below. Click Next to fill in the recipient's information, including the recipient's name and the fax machine's number, and then click Add, as shown in the following figure. After filling in, click “Next”, the “Prepare Home” dialog box will appear. In this dialog box, we will set the format and information of the home page. Windows XP provides us with four templates, we can easily follow the template. Format to design our fax, click "Sender Information", fill in some personal information that you think you need, other columns we just need to fill in according to the prompts, as shown below. Then click “Next” to select the sending time and priority according to your needs, as shown in the figure below. Click “Next” to preview the effect of the fax. After you are satisfied, click “Finish” to complete the fax sending wizard. At this time, the computer will start sending faxes through your Modem, and the “Fax Monitor” dialog box will pop up automatically, as shown below. At this point, the whole process of sending a fax is over. What needs special explanation is the “Fax Home Template” mentioned above. Windows XP provides us with four templates. Of course, we can also design the template ourselves. In the console interface, click Tools → Personal Home → New to design your own fax template. Receiving a fax
Windows XP also provides us with the ability to receive faxes. We only need to click on "File" → "Receive Fax Now" in the "Fax Console" to receive your fax. You can read the fax you just received in the Inbox in the Fax Console, as shown in the following figure. How about receiving and sending faxes with Windows XP is still very convenient! In fact, as early as Windows 95, Microsoft has provided us with fax capabilities. I don't know why, this feature is not available in Windows 98. Fortunately, Windows XP has taken this feature back. And the function and stability have been greatly improved, making our Modem rejuvenated. Modem is a device that converts digital signals from analog signals. The fax function on the computer uses the characteristics of Modem to send and receive faxes. If your computer is equipped with a scanner or printer, it can be a real fax machine.
