How to get back the Windows XP system login password

accidentally forgot the Windows xp login password? There is no system disk and other repair tools around? How to do this? Xiaobian has encountered this kind of problem, after unremitting research, summarized the following two A method, I hope everyone likes it.

Method 1: Using "administrator"
We know that during the installation of Windows XP, there is a super administrator account of "administrator", and login by default as "administrator", then you will be asked to create a New account, so you can use this new account to log in when you enter Windows XP, and only the created user account will appear in the Windows XP login interface. “administrator” will not appear, but the “administrator” account still exists. And the password is empty.
When we understand this, if you forget the login password, on the login interface, hold down the Ctrl+Alt key and then press the Del key twice to display the classic login screen. Type "administrator" at the name, enter the password blank, and then modify the password of the local user account you set.
Method 2: Using NET Commands
Microsoft provides the "net user" command in Windows XP. This command can add and modify user account information in the following format:
net user [UserName [PassWord |  *] [options]] [/domain]
net user [UserName {PassWord |  *} /add [options] [/domain]
net user [UserName [/delete] [/domain]]
The specific meaning of each parameter has been explained in detail in Windows XP Help, you can Seen in the lower left corner of the control panel.
The following are the steps to solve the forgotten login password:
1. Restart the computer, press the F8 key immediately after the startup screen appears, and select "Safe Mode with Command Line".
2, at the end of the running process, the system lists the system super user "administrator" and the local user's selection menu you set, click the "administrator" mouse, enter the command line mode.
3, type the command: "net user you set the local user username 123456 /add", forcibly change the local user's password to "123456". If you want to add a new user here (for example, the username is xxxxx and the password is 123456), type "net user xxxxx123456 /add". After adding, you can use the "net localgroup administrators xxxxx /add" command to promote the user to system management. Group users of "administrators" and have super privileges.
4, restart the computer, select the normal mode to run, you can use the changed password "123456" to log in to the local user you set.
I hope to help everyone
