Windows XP system's strongest startup speed-up skills

Nowadays, the XP startup acceleration articles on the Internet are a lot of things, but there are not many really useful ones, and some even mislead readers. I am also an XP user myself, and I am deeply touched by the startup acceleration of XP. I have seen countless optimization articles, installed XP times N times, and walked through many detours, but in the end I finally summed up the experience that can really optimize XP startup. My computer configuration is not very good. It takes a long time to start after installing XP or 2003. The scroll bar has to be rotated more than 10 times. After optimization, the startup time is obviously accelerated. The scroll bar can only be turned on for more than one lap and can't wait to open the system. Here's a detailed explanation of how to accelerate the startup effectively and efficiently. First, open "System Properties" (right click on my computer - Properties, or open "System" in the Control Panel, shortcut key win + pause break) point to the "Advanced" tab, in the "Startup and Recovery" area Open "Settings" and remove the two ports in the "System Startup" area. If the multi-system user keeps the "Display Operating System List Time". Click "Edit" to make sure that the additional attribute of the startup item is /fastdetect instead of nodetect. Do not add the /noguiboot attribute first, because guiboot will be used later. The next step is very important. Open the "Hardware" tab in "System Properties", open the "Device Manager", expand "IDE ATA/ATAPI Controller", double-click to open the "Secondary IDE Channel" property, click "Advanced" Set the "tab" to change the transfer mode of devices 1 and 2 to DMA. If the device type can be "None", select "None". Click OK to complete the setting. Set the "Main IDE Channel" in the same way. Open the registry (Start-Run-regedit), click "My Computer" to open the "Edit" menu, click "Search", enter AutoEndTasks, and click "Find Next". Double-click to open the found result and modify the "Value Data" to 1. Then under the AutoEndTasks, you can find HungAppTimeout, WaitToKillAPPTimeout, set the "Value Data" to 2000 or less, and modify the time of the menu delay here. Find the MenuShowDelay under the AutoEndTasks. The value is in milliseconds. I want to remove the menu delay and set it to 0. After modifying, click the "Edit" menu, open "Find Next" (shortcut F3), and modify the results found in the previous step. Now the acceleration of startup and shutdown has been completed. Restart the computer and feel the feeling of speeding up. It is OK to scroll only one or two times. After enjoying the speed of the quick restart, we can further accelerate the startup speed, open the "System Properties" - "Advanced" - "Startup and Recovery" settings, open the "System Startup" area edit, add /after the fastdetect Noguiboot, so the scroll bar will not be displayed when it is started. If you really like the display of this scroll bar, you don’t have to do this step.
