Beautiful and unstoppable Realize XP appearance and performance balance

Just started using XP system, because there is no deep understanding of it, and some functions can not be used. We all know that after the XP system is installed, the default settings are for the best look. Most of the effects are not outstanding, but they consume a lot of memory and must be reset. Previously to save memory, the system service was optimized, and all unnecessary projects were closed, including the "Themes" theme service. So first open the service, enter "services.msc" in "Run", make sure to open the service tool window, find "Themes" double-click to set. A colleague told me that since his wife was fascinated with system landscaping, various themes and plug-ins have tossed the computer at home. It is unacceptable to run large software or 3D game systems slowly. So how can we both manage our wife and ensure our ability? And see how the author uses both fish and bear's paw. First, the most memory-saving XP style After the XP system is installed, the default setting is the best appearance. Select "Automatic" in "Startup Type", click "Start" under "Service Status", and save and exit. Go back to the desktop and right click on "My Computer" and select "Properties". In the System Settings window, click on "Advanced" - "Settings" - "Visual Effects". Only the three items that most affect the whole are retained. "Use visuals on windows and buttons." Style, "Use common tasks in folders" and "Use shadows for icon labels on the desktop" to confirm saving. It is also recommended that you disable the "thumbnail" function in "Control Panel" - "Folder Options" - "View". Not only can you save a lot of memory, but also prevent the system from dying due to too many preview images in the folder. Second, the "sidebar" shows the beauty of the desktop In the numerous updates brought by the Vista system, the sidebar is undoubtedly a highlight. It not only makes the program run faster and more convenient, but also makes the beautiful desktop unobstructed, so it is highly sought after. The author also added a sidebar for XP. The method is very simple and the effect is not bad. It is a small surprise for my wife. Create a new folder (not on the desktop, preferably non-system partition), name it "XP sidebar", click "Start-Run" and enter "C:DocumentsandSettings username SendTo" to open and then create "XP side" Shortcut for the bar. Then right click on the commonly used shortcut and select "Send to -XP sidebar". After the completion, drag and drop the folder to the leftmost side of the desktop and generate it. However, for the sake of beauty, further settings are needed. First right click on the blank space in the sidebar and select "Auto Hide" and "Show Title", then modify the lengthy program name and adjust the width of the sidebar to the most appropriate. If you feel that the sidebar is easy to interfere with the current operation, do not select "front-end display", usually just press "WIN+D" to quickly return to the desktop and you can use it. If there are many shortcuts, please select "small icon" and cancel "display text". If you are worried about installing the software again after the system crashes, repeat the above operation. I recommend choosing "green software." The reason is very simple: the green software does not need to be installed and used conveniently, and does not produce junk files to ensure smooth system. Once reloaded, simply drag the original sidebar folder back to the left side of the desktop. For the beautiful wallpaper to be fully displayed, hide the taskbar. Right click on the blank space and select "Properties", and select "Auto Hide" in the settings window. For friends who frequently edit documents, it is recommended that you right-click on the input method status bar on the taskbar, select "Restore Language Bar", and drag and drop it to the toolbar position of Word and other software (Figure 4). This will not obscure the text, nor will it frequently call out the hidden taskbar. Third, creativity makes beauty more magical. Just like art creation, the dressing system also needs creativity. For example, the desktop I currently use, the wallpaper is very novel, but it is very mediocre with the traditional icon layout. Originally intended to take the "My Computer" and other shortcuts into the sidebar, and then hide the desktop icon. But considering "My Computer", "My Network Places" and "Recycle Bin" often need to right click to set the property and have to give up. Re-examining a moment, decided to break the mindset, and put "My Computer" and other icons in four corners. Only this change will make the United States have God, and the whole desktop will be "live", showing the greatness of creativity. Fourth, the price of beauty? “One Minute” revealed that it takes a price to pursue beauty, so how much impact does this program have on performance? First, through the "Task Manager - Performance" discovery balance program consumes 5-7MB more memory than the best performance. Using a "one-minute test" for a simple comparison, the scores of the two were only 0.03, which seemed quite successful. Interested friends can also use the "One Minute Test" tool for more detailed and comprehensive testing.
