Create "Apple" version of Win XP system

Some time ago, the author launched a document called "Configure a beautiful WinXP system", which is very strong among netizens. Some friends said that they installed on their own computers and found that startup and shutdown slowed down. Some friends said that some Windows components such as the calculator could not be opened. With these questions, the author also visited some large domestic forums and found that the problem reflected by everyone is a relatively common phenomenon. The reason is because the machine configuration of friends is uneven, and most of them are used in the D version of XP system. And FlyakiteOSX 1.0 was originally designed for the English version of Windows. After replacing the system files, it naturally seems to be a lot of problems. However, from the perspective of technology
, the method of replacing system files used by FlyakiteOSX is first-class in terms of speed and stability, and the author is actively writing 2.0 version of FlyakiteOSX, which is said to be 2.0. Can better support the Chinese version of SP2, interested friends can pay more attention.
However, although FlyakiteOSX can simulate XP system to more than 95%, but for some ultimate players is not the most "Apple", you must know that there is a taskbar like the one in Figure 1. So how can we turn our XP version of "Apple" into a real "Apple" version of XP? This is another protagonist we want to introduce to you today - ObjectDock

Beautiful face and extraordinary performance
ObjectDock has a very beautiful face, which you can see from Figure 1, basically Mac OSX Dock Some functions are implemented: mouse-sensitive icon dynamic zoom, elastic icon drag and drop, support for executable files and folder drag and drop to create shortcuts, support for .ico and PNG-24 transparent graphic formats, icon size support 5px-128px, Icon free replacement, background transparency adjustment, and ObjectDock also comes with a very beautiful icon library, but in view of copyright issues, the icons inside are third-party, not the original Mac icon in the Mac.
Add shortcut icon
ObjectDock's function is a bit like the quick launch bar in Windows, you can add some common shortcuts on it. At the same time, the operation method is also very simple, right click on the blank part of the ObjectDock, select "Add" → "New Shortcut" in the pop-up menu. At this point, a "?" icon will appear on the ObjectDock, which represents a new unknown shortcut, as shown in Figure 2. Right click on it and select "Dock Entry PropertIEs" to set the properties of this shortcut. The software will then pop up a dialog box, the English is very simple, "Link" is the specific path we want to execute the program, and "Title" is the name of the shortcut, and the last "Run" can set the window for the program. Run (conventional, maximize, minimize). Here, I set up a shortcut to Windows Media Player, as shown in Figure 3.

shown in Figure 4. Figure 4
[Tips] directly to the desktop shortcut or drag and drop files to the target ObjectDock also can quickly add shortcut icons. If you want to delete a shortcut icon, you can also drag it away from the ObjectDock to delete it, except you can right click on it and select "Remove Entry".
Using the ObjectDock plugin
The role of the plugin must be known to everyone, it can add more features to the software. So let's take a look at what is hidden in the ObjectDock.
Right click on the blank part of the Dock and select "Add". The screen shown in Figure 5 will appear. From the above we can clearly see that ObjectDock already has four plugins. The first Simple Animation Docklet is an animation component. The animation effect of ObjectDock is generated by it. In fact, it is automatically run when the Dock starts. The "Clock" below it is a clock plug-in. It has a second hand function in addition to the standard Windows clock. It is recommended for everyone to use. The following Web Search Docklet is actually the Google search engine, it is also automatically loaded at startup, and if you like other search engines, you can also select other search engines on the Google icon "Dock Entry PropertIEs" (software from With Yahoo, MSN and Google). The bottom one is the weather forecast plugin, but after I tried it, I found that the plugin is linked to a weather website abroad. Not only is the speed slow, but I can't find the domestic weather. It seems that I can only throw it aside. .

Other settings
1. Let the "old temperature" taskbar give way to ObjectDock
Just installed ObjectDock friends will find that Windows taskbar and ObjectDock will Overlapping together affects both aesthetics and inconvenience. Since we have ObjectDock, we should let the "Old Win" taskbar let the place go.
Right click on the blank part of ObjectDock, select "Dock settings..." → "Dock Contents", and check "Hide the Windows taskbar" in the pop-up dialog box.
2. Let ObjectDock start automatically after booting
Since ObjectDock becomes the owner of the taskbar, let it start automatically.
Right click on the blank part of ObjectDock, select "Dock settings...", and check "Load ObjectDock on startup" in the pop-up dialog box.
3. Lock ObjectDock
The installed ObjectDock allows users to drag and drop and delete shortcut icons themselves, but if we don't want to do this, we can lock the ObjectDock. The method is to right click on the blank part of the ObjectDock and select "Lock Dragging".
In fact, in addition to the functions written above, ObjectDock also displays the function of the screenshot at the time of minimizing the program, so that we have more convenience when switching programs. However, the effect of ObjectDock is so wonderful. It is a bit pale and weak to describe it in words. Just ask everyone to try it yourself. I believe it will not let you down.
