The secret of tapping the Windows operating system shortcut

shortcut is a shortcut function designed by the Windows system for the convenience of users. With it, we can quickly open various files. In fact, the shortcut has many secrets besides its own position.

1. Change the shortcut icon

Each software will specify its own icon when creating a shortcut. If you don't think it has personality, it doesn't matter, change it. Right click on it and select "Properties", select "Change Icon" in the "Shortcuts" tab, and select your favorite icon in the "Change Icon" dialog that opens (Figure 1). If you can't satisfy you here, you can also use your own icons to select your own icons by "Browse" and determine if your shortcuts are different in the future!

Cico prompt: at %\\systemroot\\system32\\shell32. The dll folder contains many beautiful icons.

2. One-click starter

When I do courseware
, I often use a variety of software at the same time. If you don't want to use the mouse, you can set shortcuts for them separately. Let's take the shortcut of setting up Photoshop as an example: right click on the shortcut of Photoshop, select "Property", in the "Shortcut" tab, position the cursor in the "shortcut" column, press the "F12" button, after Just press this button to start Photoshop quickly (Figure 2). You can also use this method to make a one-button shutdown shortcut: create a shortcut on the desktop, use the "%\\systemboot\ undll.exe user.exe, exitWindows" command, and then assign a button to it, such as "F10". To shut down later, just press F10.

3. Program running automatically maximizes

When surfing the Internet, if the open page is always minimized or small, it will be annoying. At this time, you can right-click the shortcut of IE, select "Properties", then click the "Shortcuts" tab, select "Maximize" in the "Run Mode" drop-down box and confirm. Try it now, is it better? Of course, if you feel that each startup is maximally bad, you can set it to "minimize" or "regular window" in the same way.

4. Quick Finder installation folder

Sometimes we want to know where the program is installed, we just right click on the program's shortcut icon, select the "Properties" command, and then click the "Find Target" button. You can open the folder of the installer.

Cico prompt: at %\\systemroot\\system32\\shell32. The dll folder contains many beautiful icons.

5. Remove the shortcut flag

The small arrow on the shortcut icon and the word "shortcut" can also be removed if you don't look good. Open the registry editor, find the "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\LNKFILE" item, delete the string value named "isshortcut" in the form on the right, refresh the desktop, is the small arrow missing? The way to remove the words "shortcuts" is easier, as long as we rename the shortcut.
