Second, hide desktop

Sometimes, we find There is nothing on the desktop. Right click on the desktop → arrange icons, as shown in Figure 4. The reason is that the "display desktop icon" is not "∨" in front of it, so the icons under the desktop are hidden.

V. Keep Desktop

If you want to make your favorite desktop shortcut icons are not deleted , can be done as follows.

Assuming the system is installed on the C drive and the user is Admin, the shortcut icons on the user's desktop include the contents of "C:Documents and SettingsAll Users Desktop" and "C:Documents and SettingsAdmin Desktop". Here we set permissions so that the contents of the "..All Users desktop" are not deleted.

Open the Explorer, find the ..All Users desktop, right click on the desktop → Sharing and Security → Security (Figure 8, the Desktop Properties panel appears) → Click on "Advanced" to "inherit those from the parent" Permission items that can be applied to child objects, including those that are explicitly defined here, are removed. In the "Security" prompt dialog box, click "Copy", "Permission Items" only keeps "Everyone Read and" Run", delete the other, click OK, as shown in Figure 9, then click OK.

This way, the content in the "..All Users desktop" is kept and will not be deleted.

"Sharing and Security" desktop, see The desktop properties that are arrived are not as shown in Figure 8, but as shown in Figure 10, there is no "safe" label. First confirm whether your system disk uses the NTFS file system, and if so, click on the "Tools" menu → Folder Options → View on the Explorer, as shown in Figure 11, the "Use Simple File Sharing (Recommended)" front box Remove the "∨" inside and click OK. Look at the desktop properties as shown in Figure 8.

The above method of "keep the desktop", when deleting these shortcut icons, will prompt "reject access" and other information, people feel unhappy, I thought the computer had a problem. The method described below is unconsciously...

Open the Group Policy Management Console, expand User Configuration→Windows Settings→Scripts-(Login/Logout) in the left pane, double-click Login in the right pane, and the Login Properties dialog box appears. In the box, as shown in Figure 12, click on "Show Files" and right-click on the blanks in the "Logon" Explorer that appears → New → Text Document. A "New Text Document" is displayed.

Click menu tool → Folder Options → View, remove “∨” in front of “Hide Extension of Known File Type”, click OK, “New Text Document.txt” appears (see extension. Txt)). Rename this file to "ReDestop.bat". Right-click on ReDestop.bat → Edit, type the following and save and exit.
