Completely reinstall the system, free to enter the serial number?

        This trick is quite practical for people who are constantly filling the system. Entering the serial number is not only a hassle. If you accidentally miss it, you may not be able to install it.

This example will use the Windows 98 system as an example.

1. Insert the Windows 98 installation CD into the CD and open the file manager.

2. Click on the drive symbol where the CD is located, then click on the Win98 directory and press Ctrl+C to copy the Win98 folder to your hard drive.

3. Open "Notepad" and enter the following text:

[BatchSetup]

Version=3.0 (32-bit)

SaveData=02/12/01

[Version]

Signature="$CHICAGO$"

[Setup]

ProductKey=" XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX"

4. Press "File"-->"Save"--> select into the Win98 directory and enter the file name " Msbatch.inf" press save to save.

5. Then press “Setup.exe” and you will find that you don’t need to enter the serial number again.
