Method 1: Fix Internet Explorer 6.0

Perform the following steps to fix Internet Explorer 6.0:

1. Use the System File Checker to scan all write-protected files on your computer: BR>

Perform the following steps to edit the registry:

1. Click Start -> Run; the Run text box pops up.

2. Type regedit in the Open: field and click OK.

3. Perform Windows XP online upgrade, or Windows XP repair.

4. find the correct registry subkey, and then right-click the key IsInstalled (REG_DWORD) and then click Modify, reinstall Internet Explorer 6 browser component on Windows XP operating system, use the following registration Table key value:
