Windows XP activated backup

1) After activation, you should back up WPA.DBL under WINDOWS\\SYSTEM32\\

Sometimes for various reasons, we have to reinstall WINDOWS XP, and activate WINDOWS XP Troublesome thing. In fact, we can do it once and for all. After the first activation, we don't need to activate it again later:
Copy the WPA.DBL file under WINDOWS\\SYSTEM32\\ as a backup, no matter what happens, you need to activate WINDOWS XP again. Just COPY this file to overwrite the original file in the system.

2) Backup multiple boot files (for multiple operating systems)

After the C drive fails, after the formAT is reinstalled, the 7 files are backed up in order to restore multiple boot. . When recovering, COPY these files to C:\\. The seven files are:

boot.ini
bootfont.bin
bootsect.dos
io.sys
msdos.sys
ntdetect.com
ntldr( No extension)

Of course, after the installation is wrong, if the original WIN 9x can not enter, you can enter the safe mode, delete the above files (note: before this, only the form of the formAT WINXP is not enough).

Note: Use Wpa.dbl file to restore Windows XP forever.

1. About activation: 30 days before activation, if activated, but hardware changes More than 5 pieces still need to be reactivated (hardware change refers to hardware devices that have changed. Note that after some hardware changes, the amount of change will be considered as 2 or higher, such as network devices). Installing the virtual CD-ROM software will also be considered as a hardware change. Upgrading the BIOS/firmware and modifying the master-slave relationship of the IDE device will also be recognized as a change in the system hardware. This requires special attention.
2. The activation limit of genuine users: Generally speaking, it is 5 times, but as long as you make a free call to the Microsoft (China) Activation Center after 5 times, they will clear the database record, that is, Say there is no limit on the number of activations.

For Windows XP backup, I think it is better to use Ghost, only in this way can be done once and for all.
