How to uninstall WINDOWS XP

under 98 system

First introduce the unloading method in FAT32 partition format!

For example: Windows 9X/Me installed on the c drive, and xp installed on the d drive

First, we use the 9x boot floppy disk to boot the computer into the ms-dos system, run the format disc The partition command directly formats the partition where windowsxp is located. (If there is important information in this disk, please backup it first!)

Operation procedure:

format D:/q

Then execute the system transfer command to transfer the 9x boot file to the c drive partition:

sys c:

Then run the command to delete the file related to the windows xp system:

deltree c:\\boot*.*

deltree c:\ t*.*

deltree c:\\hiberfil.sys

deltree c: \\pagefile.sys

At this point, we have "unloaded" a windows xp!
