Xp how to hide recently opened files

  
        

Everyone knows that during the process of using the computer, some files will be recorded by the computer and placed in the list of recently read documents. Then some of our small privacy is leaked. How to remove these files? What about the traces?

Teach you some methods today:

To change some of the taskbar properties, right click on the blue taskbar and a small menu, as shown below. Click the "Properties" option.

At the top of the window, you will see two tabs labeled "Taskbar and 'Start Menu'.

Click on the "Start Menu" tab.

Allow the menu to appear as the default menu for Windows XP or the classic start menu for Windows 98, and you will see the Start menu option.

Next "Start" menu "Options, you will see a "Custom" button. Clicking this button will launch the Start menu settings.

Once the window is loaded, click "Advanced" "Label, along the top.

You can see the "list my recently opened documents" option that we circled there.

If you want to hide recently opened files, from " Appears on the Start menu, then uncheck this option. You can also clear any files currently displayed, click on the "Clear List" button, on the right.

If you want to display the recently opened on the Start menu File, then check the box. Below you can see how to display the most recently opened document on the Start menu. You can see the picture in the picture showing the recently opened document "Menu. If you tick off, then setting this menu is hidden.

Once you change the settings, then click the "OK" button, once you return to the taskbar "Properties box, click "OK" button to exit the taskbar settings.
