Application Skills of the Operating System Task Manager (1)

The Task Manager is the place where we manage the programs and processes running in the system, and often have to deal with it. However, many of my friends don't know much about it. Now I have dedicated some of the application techniques I have explored to everyone. First, the different startup methods Open the task manager commonly used methods are two, one is to press "ld+; Ctrl + Alt + Del * rdquo; key combination, another way is to right-click in the taskbar empty, select pop-up The “Task Manager” command in the menu is OK. However, some friends found that pressing the “Ctrl+Alt+Del” key combination does not open the task manager, but the “Windows security” window like Windows 2000. In fact, this is mainly your user account login. Caused by the way it is written off. The method of change is very simple. Go to the Control Panel to open the User Account Management item and click the “Change User Login or Logout Method” item. In the window that opens, select the “Use Welcome Screen” option and click ““ Apply the option ” button (Figure 1).

In fact, in addition to the above two methods, there is a third and more convenient method, that is, press the “ Ctrl + Shift + Esc & rdquo; key combination, you will be surprised to find that you can also open the task manager. Second, the unique resource allocation Download, listen to music, image processing … … let the computer run multiple programs at the same time is extremely normal for us. But if the computer configuration is not too good, then the system will be struggling. It seems that you can't close any of the programs, and you are in a dilemma! In fact, it is not necessary to be so distressed, we can allocate resources according to the importance of the program operation and the urgency of time. Open the task manager, select the corresponding program in the "Applications" tab and right click, select "ld to process" in the pop-up menu, so the window will automatically switch to the "process" label, while Automatically select the process corresponding to the program in the "Applications", right-click the process, and select the appropriate level in the "Set Priority" menu according to the importance of the program operation (Figure 2).

Third, the unique look for "spy" computer port is the channel for the computer to establish contact with the outside. If this channel is used by some Trojans or hacking programs, it will cause adverse consequences such as information leakage. Therefore, it is very important to find out the program used by the port. Open the Run window in the Start menu, type “Cmd /k netstat -ano” and press Enter, the system will automatically open the Command Prompt window and display the usage of the computer port, if you find a port is suspicious, for example On port 7025, find the PID column number corresponding to this port is 1740 (Figure 3).

After recording the PID number corresponding to the port, open the Task Manager window, switch to the "Processes" tab, open the "View" menu, select “ select the column & rdquo;, in the window that opens Lieutenant <;PID (Process Identifier)” Select and click the <;OK” button. Now we only need to find the recorded PID number 1740 in the "process" folder. You can see that the program with the corresponding process identifier of 1740 is KVSrvXP.exe (Fig. 4), which is the execution program of KV2004. It is entirely possible to be assured. Tip: Click on the “PID” column in the “process” tag to have the column sorted in order or descending order. Fourth, the distinctive window arrangement In actual work, it is often necessary to arrange two or more windows on the desktop in a certain way, which is convenient for viewing. If you do it manually, it will be very troublesome. In fact, we just need to open the task manager, select the corresponding program in the "Applications" tab, and then right click, you can select horizontal tile, vertical tile, cascading in its menu. Waiting for the way.
Five, different shutdown and restart Every time you shut down or restart, you have to wait for a while, in fact, we can completely remove this waiting time. The method is to open the Task Manager window, open the “Shutdown” menu, click on the “Shutdown” or “Restart” command and you will find that the speed is really fast. Tip: If there is no “Shutdown” menu in the Task Manager window, just follow the instructions in the first point of this article.
