Let XP remember more folders

By default, Windows XP will remember the settings of the last 400 folders. If you have set up more than 400 folders, the oldest folder settings will be lost. Can I make Windows XP remember more folder views? By modifying the registry, we can arbitrarily set the maximum number of folders it remembers: Open the Registry Editor, expand the [HKEY_ CURRENT _USER\\Software \\Microsoft\\Windows\\Shell] branch, and set the subkey in the right window. The value of BagMRU Size®quo; (REG_DWORD type, if not created first) is changed to the maximum number of folder views you want to set for the system to remember (for convenience, you can change the number to decimal and then enter the quantity, such as “1000”) . Next, expand the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\ Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\ShellNoRoam] branch, and in the right window, change the value of the subkey "BagMRU Size" to the maximum number of folder views you want to set for the system to remember. After the modification is completed, exit the Registry Editor, restart the computer or log in again to take effect. Edit Tip: If Windows XP can't remember the folder settings normally, you can clear all the folder settings first (ie delete the “BagMRU” and “Bags”) in the Registry Editor, and then make the above modifications. .
