Set a password for the Ghost image to ensure system security

  
        

Ghost is a hard disk backup and recovery tool that everyone is familiar with. If you don't know how to restore a system with important data without knowing it, what will happen? In fact, we can run the Ghost command with command parameters to create an image file with a password.

1. Use the boot CD or floppy disk to boot the system into the DOS command prompt, enter the Ghost directory, type “ghost -pwd” and press Enter; 2. Follow the general policy steps to back up When creating an image file, a dialog box asking for a password will pop up. After entering a password, select “OK" OK. The image file created by this setting, whether using Ghost Explorer to open the file or use it to recover the hard disk partition, requires the correct password, which is equivalent to adding "lock" to our image file.
