How to prohibit the running of a process?

  
        If you want to disable a process, you can use ID Process Manager, the process management tool, install and run it. Click the "Options" button on the left side of the ID Process Manager main window and enter it in the "Shutdown Password" field in the right window. Password, the initial password is empty. This way you must enter this password when you exit ID Process Manager.

Display all current processes in the "ProcessName" list. Click the "Refresh" button to refresh the process list. There are two ways to limit the running of the process. One is to check the program that is forbidden to run in the list, for example, select "QQ.exe". Click the "Move to Denied" button to send it to the list of prohibited runs. The second is to check all the allowed process names in the list, click the "Move to Allow" button, and send it to the list that is allowed to run.


If you take the first method, click the “Denied Processes” button on the left side of the ID Process Manager main window to display all programs that are forbidden to run in the right window. You can also click The "Add" button directly adds other programs that are forbidden to run, so only the processes in the list will be disabled. If you take the second method, click the "Allowed Processes" button on the left side of the ID Process Manager main window to display all the processes that are allowed to run in the right window. Of course, you can also add other licensed programs by clicking the "Add" button. This way, in addition to allowing the processes in the list, other processes will be prohibited from running.

Finally, click on the "Protection ON" button in the lower left corner of the window to activate the process protection function of ID Process Manager. This way, when you run a program that has not been certified by ID Process Manager in the future, the system will pop up a prompt "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access this project", so the program will not run.

When you need to remove the protection status of ID Process Manager, click the "Protection OFF" button. Click the "Accessing Logs" button on the left side of the ID Process Manager window. In the right window, you can view detailed log information, including the process name and time of the interception, and the activation or shutdown of ID Process Manager.
