Correctly set windows server 2008 remote desktop

Windows 2008 remote login allows many technicians to scratch their heads, because Windows 2008 only allows admin users to log in by default. When one user logs in, another user drops. The previous version of Windows 2003 did not have such a situation. How can Windows 2008 sever support multi-user remote login? We must configure the system accordingly.

The setup steps are as follows:

Control Panel - Administrative Tools, Terminal Services - Terminal Services Configuration

1. Connection: RDP-tcp right click, property. Network adapter - the maximum number of connections, 2. By default, if you do not add the Terminal Services feature, you can only adjust to a maximum of 2 simultaneous connections.

2, terminal server authorization mode: right click, properties. Conventionally, limit each user to only one session, remove the check, and confirm. You can log in more here. If no settings are in effect, restart it.

3. Prevent remote users from terminating the console administrator.

Run -gpedit.msc, Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Terminal Services. Terminal Server - Connection.

Configuration: Reject the administrator who has logged in to the console session to log out and set it to enable.

The reboot takes effect.
