A foreign netizen, James Governor, listed 15 questions on his blog to identify whether it is cloud computing. If the answer is no, it proves that what the vendor touts you is not cloud computing. I think it is quite interesting. It is compiled as follows for your reference. The level is limited. Please correct me:

1) If the nominal is "Grid" or "OGSA (Open Grid Service Architecture)"... Well, it is not a cloud.

2) If you need to provide a dozens of pages of requirements to the manufacturer... then it is not a cloud.

3) If you can't buy with your own credit card... then it's not cloud.

4) If they want to sell to your hardware device... then it is not a cloud.

5) If no API is provided... then it is not a cloud.

6) If you need to re-architect your system... then it is not a cloud.

7) If you can't deploy the server between 10 minutes... then it's not cloud.

8) If you can't deprovision the server between 10 minutes... then it's not cloud.

9) If you know the specific location of the machine you are using... then it is not a cloud.

10) If you need a consultant to help you... then it is not a cloud.

11) If you need to prepare a list of the required number of machines in advance... then it is not a cloud.

12) If it only runs one operating system... then it is not a cloud.

13) If you don't have to connect it to your own machine... then it's not a cloud.

14) If you need to install software to use it... then it is not a cloud.

15) If you have all of this hardware... then it is not a cloud.
