Four-step cracked "locked" registry

Step 1

First backup the registry editor Regedit.exe under the Windows folder, such as Regedit.exe can be copied to A.exe, Save to the root directory of the C drive.

Step 2

Click “Start→Run”, enter “CMD” and press Enter. Enter "C:" in the command prompt interface and press Enter, then enter "Edit /80 A.exe". The parameter "/80" here means that the file is opened in binary mode.

Step 3

After opening, use the Edit "Find" command to find the string "disableregistrytools" (actually just look for "dis"), and then the string will be found. Change any one character to another character (note that you need to use a half-width when modifying), and save and exit after the modification.

Step 4

Now running A.exe, how? The "locked" registry editor is open!
