Storm video prompts lack of realcodec player plugin how to do

Storm will first call the decoder when playing video, if the call is not successful, it will call the core, the next time you play will also prompt to download the decoder ~~~< Br>

Delete the realplay residual files and clean up the registry. There may be replay files of realplayer on your computer.

RealPlayer is a very "overbearing" player. If you install Storm Video and install it, the decoding package in Storm Video will probably conflict with RealPlayer.

If you encounter this situation, it is recommended that you uninstall RealPlayer first, then uninstall the corresponding decoding package, then install RealPlayer first, then install the decoding package (and do not select Real component).

If you don't want to be too much trouble, there is an easier way:

Step 1: Run the "Regedit" command to open the registry editor and navigate to the registry [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTSoftwareRealNetworksRealPlayer6. 0PreferencesMainApp] branch, the default value is changed from “mpc” with absolute path to "realplay.exe" with absolute path (that is, the main program of RealPlayer).

Step 2: Un-use the "Network Upgrade" and "User Feedback" functions in the RealPlayer settings
