IE can't display PNG image fault resolution

Colleagues have problems with the machine. I found that the IE images are incomplete. Some of the images are normal, while others are displayed as red X. Look carefully at the format of the image and find that the image formats that cannot be displayed are in png format. Baidu took a moment and found that there are many articles mentioning this matter, so I experimented according to some formulas:

1 File is missing, pngfilt.dll is a key file, it should be in c:\\windows\\system32 In the \\ path, this file loss will cause the failure.

2 The file registration item is damaged. If the pngfilt.dll file exists, it may be that the registration item is missing. Use Start -> Run and type "regsvr32 c:\\windows\\system32\\pngfilt.dll" in the Run input box (then click OK).

my colleagues searched the machine, the file is not found in the system32 path, then copy the past to solve.

There are still several other treatment methods. Since there is no environmental experiment, it is impossible to determine the accuracy. I will have the opportunity to verify again next time!
