Modify win7 temporary file path method

Nowadays, many people have developed the habit of modifying the installation path when installing software for the computer. Installing the software to other hard disk partitions can save a lot of space for the system disk. However, the computer has been used for a long time, and the occupancy rate of the system disk will gradually increase. What files occupy the system disk space? In fact, in the Win7 system, the temporary file is a large hard disk, and it is unconsciously. Slowly swallow our hard drive space. At the same time, the temporary mirclient.dll file is also the most frequently read and written file in the Win7 system, it is easy to slow down the system. Therefore, it is not appropriate to put the temporary folder in the system disk, then we will take it out of the Win7 system disk, and find a safe place.
First open the Win7 Control Panel and go to “Systems & Security" in the left navigation bar to open “Advanced System Settings”.

Advanced System Settings
Switch to the "Advanced" tab and open the "Environment Variables".

Open Environment Variables
In the Environment Variables dialog box, select “TEMP” and “TMP”, click the “Edit” button.

Edit User Variables
In the Edit User Variables dialog box, we see that the variable value is the part that can be edited. Here we have the default temporary file storage address of the original system. We can directly use the user. And the system temp and tmp variables are changed to another path.
