Microsoft's official website is dedicated to identify the authenticity of the block to determine whether Win7 is pirated

According to foreign media reports, in some cases, Microsoft is well aware that pirates use advanced technology to replicate their software products, so that even Microsoft's own employees can not distinguish between genuine software and pirated software. Therefore, Microsoft's official website has specifically set up how to identify the authenticity section, users can distinguish whether the purchased products are deceived according to the information provided by Microsoft.

Now, Microsoft's latest client, Windows 7, has entered how to identify authentic websites. Other products include Office, Windows XP and Windows Server. Users can enter how to identify the authenticity of the website, use their own Windows 7 version to compare Microsoft's genuine products. Currently, Microsoft only provides end users with Windows 7 Ultimate (the highest piracy rate) review information.

Whether users download Windows 7 through retail or digital or upgrade Windows 7 through volume licensing, they can compare Microsoft Genuine software products to determine if their copy of Windows 7 is legal. If the user's copy of Windows 7 is indeed pirated, Microsoft also provides users with an opportunity to report piracy.

David Finn, executive director of anti-piracy at Microsoft, said: "I think the most meaningful aspect is to let users report piracy - we can take certain measures accordingly. We One tool allows consumers to contact us, and how to identify true and false websites is the main way we collect pirated information. Pirates should know that we have begun to monitor their actions."
