UAC adds chaos - Windows 7 RC is now privileged Bug

Since the emergence of UAC, Windows has begun to appear a lot of permissions-related issues, summed up the problems in our forum for so many days, many of which are with permissions related. Now, with the release of Windows 7 RC, another permission-related bug has been discovered. Windows 7 RC users may find that some programs cannot run under standard user rights and the system cannot perform normal processing. Fortunately, according to Microsoft's data, only the English version of Windows 7 Ultimate is currently affected by this bug, but... this is the most used version.

Microsoft explained: "This problem stems from the loss of the folder security descriptor under the system disk (%SystemDrive%). If you create a new folder under the system disk, the folder will not inherit the parent folder. The permissions include: 1. Standard user accounts will not be able to create subfolders. 2. Some software cannot be installed/uninstalled properly."

Microsoft has already developed patches, but ordinary users are temporarily Still not available.
