How to upgrade directly from Vista to Windows 7

This test will install Win. M3 ISO file Mount to VirtualCD by installing the upgrade method on the existing vista system. Follow the prompts to execute Setup.exe. The installation welcome screen appears.

Get important updates for installation interface, it is recommended to choose Do not get the latest updates for installation. Otherwise, it takes a lot of time to perform the updated download and installation.

Select Upgrade to perform the upgrade mode installation.

Ah, ……! The installer performs a scan of the current system and gives a compatibility report. As you can see from the figure, the data and settings of Windows Mail and Calendar, Windows Photo Gallery, and Windows Movie Maker under the current system cannot be upgraded to Win7 M3 because they are no longer included in the system. Upgrade installation cannot continue!

OK! Reasonable, unexpected! From the initial installation, the installation process of Win7 M3 is not fundamentally different from Vista. After all, it is just M3! There is no need to report too much expectations.

From the current system upgrade installation to this point, after that I used a full installation, and installed Win7 M3 to the existing Vista disk, ignore the installation warning to complete the system installation, enter Windows Explorer, open Volume C Check and find that Vista's Windows directory was renamed to Windows.old, and the previous program directory was automatically deleted, which is puzzling …… because it was too impulsive to look at the user directory of Vista before it was automatically deleted. if! So it feels like keeping Windows.old 岂 not superfluous ……
