Win7 Update is currently unable to check how the update is resolved

Win7 Update is currently unable to check for updates.

The solution is as follows:

1. Stop the Windows Update service

2. Delete X:\\windows\\SoftwareDistribution\\DataStore All files and folders under the folder

3. Start the Windows Update service

4. Run Windows Update!OK!

If not, you can refer to the following method: Br>

On a customer installed Windows 7 system, encountered a system error, the specific error is; check the update in the control panel Windows Update, but can not check the update, prompt error;

Windows Update The update cannot currently be checked because the service is not running. You may need to restart your computer as shown below;

It can be inferred from the prompt that the update service may not be started in the service, and immediately start >>>Run>>>services.msc to open the service management, Find the Windows Update service and launch it. Re-update the service

But the result still can't check the update, and the above error message still pops up.

Behind the Microsoft official support forum, get the following solutions, the solution is as follows;

Start>>>Run>>>cmd Type in DOS window :net stop wuauserv (The purpose of this command is to stop the update service first)

Start>>>Run>>>Enter %windir% Enter, then you will see a popup In the folder window, locate the SoftwareDistribution folder and delete or name it as an arbitrary name.

Then type in the DOS window: net start wuauserv (this command is to restart the update service)

Then you will see that the prompt service has started successfully, and then restart in the control panel Enter the Windows Update function to check for updates. I believe that the above methods can be used to check for updates!
