Solve the Win7 boot hard disk self-test method

Recently, the small series of notebooks appeared the boot self-test, NT7 partition mode installed Win7 boot self-test.

Win7 power-on self-test, nothing more than these common situations:

1.Illegal shutdown

2. Hard disk bad track

3. System problems

4. Hard disk is not working properly

Because the partition of ntfs is relatively stable, it is generally rare to have a self-test in the case of illegal shutdown. If there is a power-on self-test, then let it self-test, restart is generally not, if there are many self-tests, if there is always a self-test, then you have to be careful, you must scan the hard disk to see There are no bad sectors.

In general, it is best not to mention Win7 boot hard drive self-test must not skip, because of the hidden trouble caused by the last unexpected shutdown caused by new read and write errors. In the long run, the hard disk will frequently have read and write errors, which will eventually affect the life of the hard disk.

Solution:

1. Under normal circumstances, let it be self-test completed, restart it. (Up to 2 times, there is self-test when booting)

Self-test crash (or the progress bar does not move)

2. Re-partition and reinstall the system.

3. Turn off the Win7 boot hard disk self-test.

"Start → Run", enter "regedit" in the "Run" dialog to open the Registry Editor, select the "HKEY_LOCAL_MacHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Session Manager" subkey, then on the right Find the "BootExecute" key-value item in the window and clear its value and confirm it, restart the computer!
