Use the Win7 family to connect multiple computers

There are probably more than one computer
in the home of many people. If you need to transfer files between several computers in your home, what method would you choose? Use QQ to transfer, use U disk
copy? These two methods are the most common, and it is not difficult to operate, but it is still a little troublesome, especially in the absence of QQ or the U disk can not be found. In fact, as long as a few computers are installed with Win7 system, the Win7 family group can be used to build a mini LAN for these computers. The operation of transferring files using the family group is simpler, just like in the local Copy and paste in hard disk
.

Step 1: Creating a Family Group

The method of creating a family group in the Win7 system is also very simple. First, click on the "Start" button on one of the Win7 computers, open the "Control Panel", enter "Family" in the search box to find and open the "Family Group" option.

Open Win7 Family Group Options

Click "Create Family Group" in the "Family Group" window and check the items to be shared. The Win7 family group can share a wide range of content, including documents, music, pictures, printers, etc., covering almost all the files on the computer.

Select the content to share

After selecting the shared item, click "Next", Win7 will return a string of irregular characters, this is the password of the family group, you can put this string of passwords Copy to text to save, or write directly on paper.

Write down the family group password

Write down the string of passwords and click "Finish" to save and close the settings. A family group is created.

Step 2: Join the family group

To join the existing family group, also open the “Family Group” setting from the control panel. When the system detects that there is already in the current network. In the family group, the button that originally displayed "Create Family Group" will become "Join Now".

The computer that joins the family group also needs to select the project that you want to share. After you have selected it, you can join the group by entering the password you just got when you created the family group in the next step.

Step 3: Transfer files through the family group

After all the computers in the home are added to the family group, expand the “Family Group” directory on the left side of the Win7 Explorer and you will see All the computers that have joined. As long as the shared item is selected when joining, it can be freely copied and pasted by the family group, just like the local mobile and copy files.

Tips:

All versions of Win7 can be added to the family group, but only the Win7 Home Premium and above systems can create a family group. If all the computers in your home are still Win7 Home Basic Edition, you can upgrade the Win7 system of a computer by purchasing the Win7 upgrade key, so that you can create a family group. The Win7 system upgrade process is very simple, even without reinstalling the system, just enter the upgrade key and wait for about ten minutes.
