Solve the high occupancy problem of audiodg CPU under Win 7

I don't know if you noticed such a situation. When using the audio or video playback software such as Thousands of Listening, Storm, and other audio games under Windows 7, the audiodg.exe process causes the CPU usage to rise to the moment. More than 80% (Figure 1, the highest value monitored by the author has reached 90%). After that, the audio share of audiodg.exe can be maintained between 6% and 8% after the playback software enters the playback state.

Under normal circumstances, the instantaneous increase in CPU usage is not uncommon, but when the application enters the normal working state, the CPU share of the system process remains between 6% and 8%. Users are difficult to accept. Although I don't know the root cause of this situation, I found a simple solution after asking some Windows 7 users.

Right-click the speaker icon in the system tray and select "Play Device":
Next, in the new dialog box that pops up, switch to the "Enhanced Features" tab and disable the system by default. All enhancements are enabled (ie check "Disable all enhanced performance",)

Save the settings and exit.

Special note: Some users think that you should switch to the advanced tab and cancel the "exclusive mode" checked by default. The author did three tests on this and found no significant effect.
