solutions
this version of Windows Media Player does not include "advanced tag editor." However, by editing the media information in the detailed pane of the player library, most of the tasks performed using the Advanced Tag Editor can still be done.
If you don't mind entering all the information manually, you can use the "Edit" command to directly repair the information in the player library without using the online database.
1. Click the Start button, click All Programs, and then click Windows Media Player.
If the player is currently on and in "Now Playing" mode, click the "Switch to Media Library" button in the upper right corner of the player. In the Player Library, right-click the project title, artist name, or other media information properties, and then click Edit.
If the properties in the player library are not visible, you may need to use the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the player library (if available) to scroll left or right, or you may need to configure your player library to display the default Some attribute columns hidden in the case. For information on how to change the columns shown in the Player Library, see Changing how items in the Windows Media Player media library are displayed.
If you want to make the same property changes for multiple projects, you can save time by selecting a group of projects and then right-clicking on the properties. To select multiple adjacent items, hold down the Shift key as you select items. To select items that are not adjacent, hold down the Ctrl key while selecting the item.
Type the information you want to add or fix, then press Enter.

information has been added to player library. Later (the length of time depends on how many changes are made and whether the player performs other actions), and this information is also added to the file. To force the player to update files immediately, click Organize, and then click Apply Media Info Changes.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 to fix the other attributes.
Note that some attributes such as length, size, and bit rate cannot be edited.
Some attributes can have multiple entries separated by semicolons, such as artists and genres participating in the creation.
