How to use a proxy server to access the Internet in Win8?

When we use IE browser to open a webpage, we may encounter the need to use a proxy server to access the Internet. How to set up the LAN8 proxy server for Windows8? I believe there are still many users who don’t understand it. Edited for everyone to introduce the setting method of using proxy server Internet access in Win8 system.

Steps to set up the proxy server to access the Internet:

1. Right-click on the Start menu, open the Control Panel, find the [Internet] option and open it.

2. Select the [Connect] tab and click the [LAN Settings] button.

3, find the proxy server option, as shown in the figure, select [Use a proxy server for the LAN], and enter the correct proxy server address and port number. If you want to set the proxy server for HTTP, FTP, and Socket separately, click the [Advanced] button to enter the [Proxy Settings] interface.

4. Remove the [Use the same proxy server for all protocols] option and set different proxy server addresses and port numbers for different protocols.

5. After the setting is completed, click [OK] to return to the [LAN (LAN) Settings] screen. If you only want to use proxy services for external network access, check [Do not use code server for local addresses].

6, click the [OK] button, the settings take effect, open IE, you can go online through the proxy server.

The above is the method of using the proxy server to access the Internet in the Win8 system introduced by Xiaobian. I don't know how to use the proxy server to access the Internet in the Win8 system. Try the above steps to try it out.
