How to use Win8 system program compatibility assistant service?

  

From the Vista system, Microsoft introduced the "Program Compatibility Assistant Service" and often reminds users from time to time that there may be compatibility issues with the current program. In fact, these programs are not problematic in terms of system compatibility, except that no compatible system platform is specified. The following small series will introduce you to the Win8 system how to close the program compatibility assistant.

Method 1: Pass the system service

1. Use the shortcut key "Win+R" to open the run box and enter services.msc;

2. Open the system service list , search for the Program Compatibility Assistant Service;

3. Double-click the service item to change the startup type “disable"service status"stop”

4. Determine the application and the restart will take effect.

Method 2: Pass Group Policy

1. Use the shortcut key "Win+R" to open the run box and type gpedit.msc;

2. Open Local Group Policy Editor;

3. Locate the User Configuration > Administrative Templates Windows component in turn;

4. Select "Application Compatibility" on the right side.

5. Double-click to open “ Close Program Compatibility Assistant 

6. Configure to be enabled;
