How to implement simple lossless partitioning for windows8 system

With the launch of the Windows 8 system, major brands (Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, Samsung, etc.) have also pre-installed Windows 8 systems. However, the laptop business did not consider the user experience when pre-installing the Windows 8 system. A 500 GB or 1 TB hard disk was separately divided into a hard disk partition. This partitioning method is not in line with the habit of Chinese users using computers. Computer hard disk partitioning, especially lossless system partitioning, is a relatively professional and risky operation. Improper operation can result in system damage or data loss. Some people use third-party system partitioning software, such software is mostly not compatible with windows8 or charging. In fact, all we need is to reduce a 500GB system C drive without destroying the system, and free up some of the hard disk space as another partition for us to store data, documents, and data.

The following describes a disk management tool that comes with the Windows 8 system to partition the entire hard disk or system partition or other partitions or change the partition size. This method is simple, effective, and absolutely safe. Everyone can Do it yourself.

First, partition planning

First look at the pre-installed window8 system disk partition, usually a system disk and a system recovery disk. We need to reduce the C drive and make room for other partitions.

Second, open the disk management tool

By right-clicking "Computer", select "Manage" & ldquo; menu & mdash; & mdash; store & mdash; & mdash; disk management, open the disk management tool .

Third, adjust the size of the system C drive, free up unallocated space

Right click on the C drive partition & mdash; & mdash; compressed volume & mdash; & mdash; query compression work space & mdash; & mdash; compression, Free up excess unallocated disk space. (both are default operations)

Compressed size is the default value

Get unallocated disk space

IV. Create partition

On unallocated disk space Right-click the operation and select “New Simple Volume", and follow the wizard prompts for partitioning. (The figure shows a 50G=51200M partition.)

Example to create a 50G partition, 50G=51200M

Default operation

By default

Complete partition wizard

50G partition has been established

V. The same method continues to build other partitions

Finally, two 50G and one 110G partitions are created.
