Whenever we install the Win8 app, we can pin it to the start screen to form a dynamic tile. Since it is a dynamic tile, as the name suggests it can be moved. The beauty of dynamic tiles is that even if we don't open the app, we can see the latest content through the live tile.

The mail application is also, after the new mail, there will be a prompt on the dynamic tile, and the text content of some mails can be displayed.
