Win8 automatically enters the traditional desktop settings after booting

For the preview version of Windows 8 system, the first thing after starting the computer every day is to click the desktop from the Metro start screen to return to the traditional interface. Over time, it will be very troublesome. Although the Metro start screen provides users with a completely new experience, it is almost useless for most of the user's current daily work, and eventually returns to the desktop environment after the experience. This article introduces you to the automatic desktop setting method after Win8 starts.

The whole process is divided into two parts:

Part 1: Creating a shortcut to the desktop;

Part 2: Activate each time you start Windows 8 This shortcut is used to achieve the purpose of the system directly entering the desktop after startup.

The specific operation is as follows:

1. Create a shortcut

First, create a new text file (or run the Notepad program directly) and paste the following into it;

[Shell]Command=2IconFile=Explorer.exe,3[Taskbar]Command=ToggleDesktop

Next, after the paste is complete, save the file as “Auto Desktop.scf &rdquo ; to any location, note that the suffix is “.scf ” instead of “.txt”. (The previous file can be named at will)

For example, if you save the file directly on the desktop, you will see the following icon:

2. Test whether the shortcut is valid.

Method: Open several windows arbitrarily, such as the resource manager, and then double-click this shortcut. If all windows are minimized, then the shortcut is valid.
