How to clear Win8 remote desktop login history traces

  
        

1. Press “Windows+R”Enter&Regquo;Regedit.exe”Enter (if UAC prompts, click Yes), open HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Terminal Server Client\\Default.

Delete the history that is currently unavailable or delete all (MRU+number, data is the name of the remotely connected computer) key-value implementation.

2. Open the Library\\Documents in turn, click View---Options to open the folder options, switch to View, and tick “Show hidden files, folders and drives”.

3. View the hidden file “Default.rdp” file in the folder, right click to delete.

4. Fix the remote desktop connection to the taskbar, right click on the remote desktop connection icon, and right click to select the history to delete one by one.

5. Press “Windows+R”Enter“mstsc” Enter to view the Remote Desktop Connection window to display the connection record or blank you need.
