Win8.1Update experience how to choose to start the tile

Windows 8.1 Update officially pushed for the past 3 weeks, presumably many users who update to Win8.1Update will be satisfied with it, after all, the optimization for the mouse and keyboard operation is not white . However, some users may find some new problems. For example, the tile on the screen can be selected with the mouse and then unified. However, after updating to Win8.1Update, it cannot be done. In fact, it is not impossible to select multiple tiles, but the operation method needs to be changed.

Before Win8.1Update, users can right click on any tile on the start screen, and then use the left button to select other tiles to select multiple tiles. However, in Win8.1Update, the start screen tile right button is given the function of the traditional context-sensitive menu, which causes the multi-select mode of right-click and left-click to be invalid. Fortunately, we have other methods to implement, and more than one.

Method 1

After switching to the start screen, hold down the Ctrl key, then click the left mouse button to select the desired tile one by one, just like selecting multiple discontinuities in the folder. The same as the file. Once you have selected multiple tiles, you can move them together, or right-click on the context menu to do something else.

With the ctrl key, you can select the tile.

Note, after using this method to select the tile, press the space bar to call out the previous command bar. As shown below).

After selecting multiple tiles, use the space bar to call out the bottom command bar.

Method 2

After switching to the start screen, press the space bar. The bottom command bar appears at the bottom of the screen, and then click the left mouse button to click the desired tile. If you don't use the mouse, you can also use the arrow keys to select the tile after pressing the space bar. Each time you select a tile, press the space bar to select it.

Method 3

Touch screen operation: Press and hold a magnet for 2-3 seconds. When the tile appears to be selected, click on the other required tiles.
