Windows 7 cannot open the "Manage" option of the right-click computer.

  

Right-click on the desktop "Computer" and select the "Manage" option when prompted. "The file does not have a program associated with it to perform the operation." Please install a program, or, if the program is already installed, create an association in the "Default Program" control panel. ”

The original click on this "Manage" is a jump to the "Computer Management" in the Control Panel.

Sometimes this error is caused by installing software or modifying the registry

Workaround:

Click “Start”--&"Run”, enter regedit

Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Classes\\CLSID\\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\\shell\\Manage\\command

The original “default” value is %SystemRoot% \\system32\\CompMgmtLauncher.exe is modified to mmc.exe %windir%\\system32\\compmgmt.msc

Other solutions:

Create a new shortcut on the desktop with the target pointing to C:\\ProgramData \\Microsoft\\Windows
\\Start Menu\\Programs\\Administrative Tools\\Computer Management.lnk
