How to delete Windows 7 system search bar history

Windows
7 is more powerful and the search function is also very powerful, but after searching for data, there will be records in the search bar, which may reveal personal privacy. So after the search, it is best not to keep the search records, so as not to leave behind. However, what is most troublesome for us is how do we see the search records we left behind?

Operation steps

First open the run, type gpedit.msc and press Enter to open the "Local Group Policy Editor".

Then click: User Configuration & mdash; Administrative Templates & mdash; Windows Components.

Under Windows Components, find "Windows Explorer", then find " in the list on the right; turn off the display of recent search entries in the Windows Explorer search box ".

Double-click "Close the display of recent search entries in the Windows Explorer search box", check "Enabled", and confirm exit.

If you need to delete the history in the address bar, just right-click on the address bar and select the “Delete History” command from the shortcut menu to clean it up.
