Why does the Win10 Build 10565 Quick Preview version have an ISO image download address?

In the early morning of the 13th, Microsoft for the Insider<fast version" member officially pushed the Windows 10 desktop system preview version Build 10565. Since Win10 Preview 10565 brings a lot of features and appearance improvements, and stability is relatively high, Microsoft recently released the official ISO image download of this version.

In general, the fast version of Microsoft does not provide image files, only online upgrades. But surprisingly, Microsoft actually gave the download address of the official ISO image file.

Why is this?

Gabriel Aul, head of the Microsoft Win10 Preview Experience Program, said in response to a question from a user, "We don't often publish a quick version of the ISO image, but we learned from the feedback that the image helps users experiment with new activation methods." & rdquo;

In Build 10565 and later, free activation does not have to strictly follow the "upgrade" approach. Users with a Win7/Win8.1 Genuine Key can be activated directly during the first installation or after their installation using their Windows 7/Windows 8.1 key. This gives a more convenient upgrade path for users who like to cleanly install Windows 10 system, because the first upgrade of Win10 in the past must use the "upgrade installation" method to activate for free, but this method often has obvious compatibility problems, so Some users have to install it twice.

So, Microsoft gave the download address.

So, what is the new way to activate? In the official blog, Microsoft announced that future versions of Windows 10 will allow users to directly activate with their existing Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 keys.
