How to uninstall hidden devices in Windows

In recent days, the author has rushed to download an ARPG game that can be used for multiplayer games on the LAN. In order to be able to connect with students who are not in the same LAN, I have specifically learned about the virtual LAN technology, and also tried two software based on this technology. One is the VNN Client and the other is the vLan.

VNN Client is an application software based on virtual LAN technology. It has a wide range of applications, powerful functions and convenient use. Unfortunately, it is commercial software and can only be used for 6 days.

vLan is a game-based platform based on this technology, similar to our familiar Haofang, VS, the difference is that it has many games, such as some ARPG.

Unfortunately, vLan is no longer supported (has been supported, the game under the author is relatively old). The game that I downloaded, or just have to uninstall vLan. The process of uninstalling vLan went smoothly, but later I found that the drivers for the virtual NIC (IPvE adapter) installed when vLan was installed were not uninstalled together. Since the author needs to dial the Internet in the dormitory, the one in the network card selection list when dialing is still present, which makes the author discover the problem.

After searching the Internet, I found that many of my friends have encountered the same problem. I think that since it is a driver problem, entering the [Device Manager] to uninstall the driver should be fine. However, the author can't find the device under [Network Adapter] in [Device Manager], as shown below:

Then, I found a small driver to uninstall the Internet, but also Did not solve the problem. The author concludes that it is likely that the device is hidden by the system. As expected, there is a [Show hidden device] option under the [View] menu of [Device Manager], as shown below:

After clicking this option, the author is finally in the network Under Adaptation] found "IPvE adapter", right click on the device, select [Uninstall], restart the computer. Dial-up again, "IPvE adapter" has disappeared from the selection list. At this point, the author finally completely uninstalled vLan.

Finally, I hope this article is inspiring to friends who have encountered similar problems.
