WinXP start menu cannot automatically pop up submenu when the mouse pointer is over

  

Some WinXP users found that when the start menu is opened, when the pointer stops on “All Programs”, the submenu does not pop up automatically, but instead clicks “All Programs” again. . How to fix this problem?

Steps:

1. Right click on “Start”, select “Properties”.

2. In the “Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window, click the “Start menu” tab, then click the “Customize” button.

3. In the "Customize Start Menu" window, click the “Advanced“ tab, then check “Open the submenu when the mouse stops over them” Checkbox, then click the “OK” button.

4. Return to the "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" window and click the “OK” button.

Now, you click “Start”, then hover your mouse pointer over “All Programs>, <;All Programs> menu will pop up automatically; likewise, hover your mouse over “ On the submenu of the program & rdquo;, its menu will also pop up automatically.
