Win8 system notebook initialization boot display start pxe over ipv4

A thinkpad E431 user said that after the initialization of his Win8 system notebook, the prompt pxe over ipv4 is displayed when booting. This is due to the activation of the Wake-on-LAN feature. The following small series talks about two solutions for everyone to choose.

Option 1: Unplug the network cable

There is nothing to say, unplug your network cable before booting every day

Option 2: Disable the network wake-up function

Modify network boot to change the cost of the hard disk, but found no effect, please be patient to look back

Enter BIOS-> config-> network

As shown in Figure Wake On LAN All are disabled.

Save bios, restart the computer

This problem is solved.

Through the above two solutions, we can solve the problem of Win8 system boot display start pxe over ipv4. If you don't care if you have trouble every day, choose option one. If you want to do it once and for all, then choose option two.
