Win10 switches users to default browser manufacturing "trouble"

Computer Store News: According to foreign media reports, Microsoft is painstaking to let Windows 10 users use the latest Edge browser. In the latest leaked preview of Windows 10, Microsoft has added a new trick. When the user switches the default browser to Chrome or Firefox, a window will pop up "To Microsoft Edge". This window will also ask you not to switch, try it once.

This window prompt will tell you all the advantages of Microsoft Edge: for example, you can write on the web page, deep integration with Cortana, and read view function. However, this move may spur Microsoft's browser competitors. When Win10 was first released, Mozilla immediately attacked Microsoft, saying that its new tricks made it even more difficult for users to modify the default browser for Firefox on Windows 10. The company even released a video tutorial to help Firefox users restore their default browser settings. Users in this video will need more steps to adjust, because Microsoft "sincere hope" users use the Edge browser in Windows 10.

Microsoft seems to have done something similar for photo and music apps. If you try to switch between the default apps, a similar dialog will appear, trying to convince you to stick with the built-in photo or music app. This latest change is expected to enter the Windows 10 upgrade package in the next few weeks. It’s just that if Microsoft did, it would have been Microsoft’s lawsuit in the next few months.
