Microsoft introduces new features Windows Focus, but only for Win10 Home Edition users

After selecting “Windows Focus”, users may display different lock screen backgrounds each time they log in to the system. Qiao Beifeng introduced this function in detail in the Build 2015 conference. In addition to the landscape wallpaper images, the system may display some help information or even application introductions according to the user's usage. Until this week, Microsoft still did not provide Windows Spotlight for Windows 10, but promised to provide this feature through Windows Update.


Many Windows 10 users have noticed that the second cumulative update on Tuesday includes Windows Spotlight, but not everyone can receive it. According to WSS, only Windows 10 Home Edition users have received Windows Spotlight. If it is a professional version of the user, it is not yet available.

Windows Spotlight automatically transforms lock screen wallpapers for you, using photos from Bing or your personal collection. Basically Windows Spotlight is a wallpaper changer built into the Windows 10 operating system that automatically replaces Windows 10 lock screen wallpapers.

Currently, Windows Spotlight is only available to Home Edition users, and Microsoft is expected to add this feature to the Professional Edition system soon. For Home Edition users, you can find Windows Spotlight by going to Settings > Personalization > Lock Screen > Background. After launching this feature, the next time you will change a new wallpaper for your lock screen.
