Partial User Win10 Start Menu and Cortana Crash Error Workaround

Computer Shop News: Start Menu and Cortana are two new features built into Windows 10, but for unknown reasons, these two features are currently not available in some Running in the computer. This issue was reflected by users on August 4th. Microsoft also acknowledged the existence of the problem, but has not pushed the patch update to fix it.

In a statement, a Microsoft engineer publicly acknowledged the problem and revealed that when the two functions stopped working, the screen displayed the following two error messages. One:

Critical Error —— Start Menu and Cortana no longer run. We will fix this issue the next time you log in.

Critical Error —— Your Start Menu is no longer running. We will fix this issue the next time you log in.

According to Microsoft's system description, the easiest way to fix this problem is to start the safe mode and then boot it normally.

A Microsoft technical support engineer said:

We already know that some users have encountered this problem and are actively seeking solutions. You can temporarily put the bug back for a while by entering safe mode and then immediately booting back to normal mode, but the error may happen again.

Microsoft has not said that it will solve the problem by pushing the fix in the future, but since Microsoft often pushes cumulative updates for Windows 10, we suspect that Microsoft will fix it in the same way. The bug.

You should also remember that starting Safe Mode is just a simple fix, and Microsoft doesn't guarantee that this workaround will work every time, not necessarily for every user. So if the Win10 user who is experiencing this problem has no effect after using this method, then he can only try again.

As for when Microsoft can fix this error, there is no sure news yet.
